Pearl growing oysters are ancient creatures that are very sensitive to their environment. Pearl farmers therefore go to great lengths to keep the water around their oysters clean by preventing pollution, cyanide fishing and dynamite fishing in their local areas.
This creates rare areas of incredible natural beauty and biodiversity around pearl farms.

We therefore work with Natural Capital Partners to offset the carbon footprint of our pearls, jewellery, and packaging – creating the world’s only CarbonNeutral® pearl jewellery. This work has involved us supporting the development of hydro-electric facilities in China (near Freshwater pearl farms) as well as the protection of areas of Borneo from deforestation.
The Tenerife Perla flagship has blossomed into becoming one of our island’s must-see destinations. A place where holidaymakers come to find the perfect piece to celebrate their time here and learn all about what makes their pearl special.
